We are busy preparing and very much looking forward to delivering our next Corporate Health and Wellbeing Experience, working with an SME and their team of staff from Galway city. During the day, we will be creating opportunities for the group to bond, while also challenging them through a range of fun and social outdoor activities.

Funded through the Western Region Drug and Alcohol Task Force, this 7 day programme will engage 10 young adults in a range of personal development focused activities while hiking and camping along the western way and surrounding mountain ranges.

We are really looking forward to starting our new Urban Adventure Group in Galway next week.

The project is designed to engage a group of teenagers from disadvantaged areas and marginalised communities in a range of afterschool outdoor, adventure based activities.

With a focus on personal development and the learning of social and leadership skills, the young people will also learn all about the outdoors and the natural environment within local green and blue spaces.

We have been very busy over the past few weeks delivering a number of summer programmes across the region. Working in partnership with organisations such as Mayo Cypsc, Galway Sports Partnership and Tusla. It’s great to see such interest in outdoor programmes and its fantastic to see so many young people outdoors, exploring their natural surroundings, while learning about and within the green and blue spaces on their door steps.
