Read MoreHaving just completed our June Wilderness Based Personal Development Programme, we have now started recruitment for our August Ember Course.
This 7 Day programme will run from August 9th until August 15th in the Galway region. It is fully funded, so there is absolutely no cost for participants, with all equipment, food and transport provided.
This programme is designed for young adults between 18-35yrs of age, experiencing some form of challenge and seeking support to affect positive change in the lives.

Having secured funding through both the National Lottery and The Ireland Funds to deliver our Unearth 1:1 intervention, Venture Out are now seeking referrals from social care workers in the region to ensure we engage those most in need.
Each programme involves an experienced guide taking a young person into nature and the great outdoors on an urban adventure for 4 individual half day sessions. This programme is fully funded and is entirely free to the referring agency and young people engaged.

Funded by the Western Region Drug and Alcohol Task Force, this programme has been designed to support a group of young adults with a history of drug or alcohol issues, those at risk and those currently in recovery.

To help young people recover post covid, Venture Out are running these outdoor, forest based sessions to create opportunities for participants to get out into nature in a safe, social and fun environment, to learn a little about the great outdoors, themselves and the natural world around them.

Funded by the Western Region Drug and Alcohol Task Force we have partnered with a number of social care support agencies across the region to recruit the most suitable participants for this programme.
For 7 days, our group will hike and camp throughout Connemara while participating in a range of personal development focused workshops and activities. By harnessing the power of nature, adventure and challenge, Venture Out guides will support each individual participant to reflect on their lives and develop appropriate strategies to affect positive change on their return.
