Wilderness Based Personal Development Programmes 2021

We have now started recruitment for a number of our extended wilderness based personal development programmes to take place throughout 2021. Over the coming months we expect to be working with a large number of young adults struggling with range of challenges including long term unemployment, drug and alcohol use, and involvement with the criminal justice system. These programmes are all fully funded, with no cost to the participant or their families.

We are delighted to have received funding by both the Western Region Drug and Alcohol Task force (WRDATF) and the Probation services to deliver 2 x 7-day programmes in the coming months. While we also look forward to delivering the FOLM (From Outdoors to Labour Market) project again this year.

Each programme will bring a group of young adults into the wilds of Connemara for an extended period of time to support them through our innovative personal development process. The programme will provide time for each individual to reflect on their lives, while supporting them in the creation of their own personal action plans for future positive change. If you know someone that might benefit, please get in touch for further details.
